I never had a "bell-sleeve" type clothing in my wardrobe so far. When I was looking through the sewing magazine yesterday, the pattern of this dress caught my attention and made me want to give it a try.
And here you go. The bell-sleeve is pretty much more adorable than I expected. I'm delighted to add this dress to my wardrobe!
Last night, I made this tunic dress out of linen fabric. Although I'm not so sure if the natural color like this suits me or not, the result is pretty satisfiable for me. I'll be wearing this tunic dress next Wednesday when I work at the local hospital as a volunteer worker. Oh yeah, have I told you girls that I started to work as a volunteer worker there besides my regular work? Anyway, next Wednesday will be my 4th time working there, and is going to be marked with this tunic dress! :)
This looks sooooo JAPANESE, eh? I Made this kimono-style robe (actually called JINBEI) last year. Vivid color and gorgeous flower motif, silky texture of the fabric. If the real silk kimono fabric is sold at affordable price, I will definitely make various dresses or robes on my own. That'll be fun!
I finished this duffle coat 2 days ago. I have always loved duffle coats and never get tired of wearing it. So I decided to sew it on my own.
Well.... finished coat is far from perfect. There're room for improvement, at least 3 or 4. Still, I love this fabric and would like to respect my hard work on it, so I will definitely put this on proudly.
Ah ok, I made this tunic dress last week or so. The fabric is so smooth and stretchy that this dress is so comfortable to wear. Yes I have to admit here that almost all (maybe 99%) of clothings I make put 1st priority on comfort. Although I have no plan at least for immediate future to get pregnant, I am quite sure that all my wordrobes are already available as maternity robes. It is not sad, no no no. I do love loose-fitting dresses!
I made this coat last year. The fabric used here is the one with which I fell in love in Shang Hai. I really wanted to get the most out of this adorable pink fabric. So I made up my mind to sew the coat for the first time. ALthough it was my first challenge, the result was not bad..... can be said it's relatively satisfying.
Last February, I went out with one guy with putting this coat on. It wasn't that horrible kind of date, but... if you wanna know the ending of this story, it didn't work out. Despite this experience and not-that-sweet memory, I still love and adore this coat. SWEAR!
