I crocheted this tunic last month. Because the yarn is quite thick, this tunic is kinda heavy to wear. But it DOES warm my back, that is for sure.
As you can see from the pic above, I ran out of the yarn (purple pink) and was forced to use different color yarn (cherry pink). I could curse the yarn shop if I wanted, but rather I won't. Because the rim crocheted with different yarn added unexpected spice to this tunic and I like it.
This is a so-called "newsboy cap" I made a several weeks ago. Amount of time/energy/yarn required to finish this crocheting is far less compared to sweater or vest, however, I was forced to repeat done-undone process for 4 times. The most difficult part was the top (Yes, it still looks weird... but this's my best try.)
One thing I realized was that the small thing is not necessarily easy compared to big thing.
